In October 2026 English Wikipedia readers went looking for the 1990s experiment that sealed a crew inside a glass dome in the Arizona desert: its article averaged about 515 human page views a day from 22 September to 14 October, then drew 2,041 on 20 October and 7,907 on the 21st (Wikimedia's daily counts).
Under GlassWho from your crew would you seal in the dome?
List the people you would take - flatmates, family, a club - with a few words about each. Everyone gets a kind of crewmate, a job and a post in one of the dome's eight biomes. Then find out who the glue is, where it will rub, and whether to seal the door.
1 The crew
First names or nicknames are plenty. The casting reads only the words you write.

2 The dome
3 Seal the crew
One run casts every person from their own words: a kind of crewmate and a dome job each, the glue that holds the crew together, the likeliest friction, a crew log through forming, storming, norming and performing, three rituals, one warning sign and what to change before sealing.
The verdict follows a fixed order: back to the airlock if the crew has two kinds of crewmate or fewer; otherwise seal after one swap if nobody is a connector or facilitator, a crew of four or more has fewer than four kinds, or one kind is more than half the crew; otherwise seal the dome.
4 Saved crews
Six kinds of crewmate
The six team archetypes come from organizational psychology. Here they are a game: a playful reading of a few words about a person, not an assessment of anyone.
How the free side works
Each line becomes one crewmate: the words before the dash are the name, the words after are all the page reads. A keyword pass guesses the kind of crewmate in a fixed order - a named trade or training makes a specialist; calming and settling words a facilitator; birthdays, parties and warmth a connector; questions, puzzles and checking an analyst; rotas, lists and budgets an executor; ideas, plans and art a visionary. Jobs go out one each: first to whoever's words name the work (nursing to the sick bay, growing things to the farm plot, fixing things to the machine deck), then by kind. A written casting is checked against all of it: one post per person, every job held once, the verdict against its own casting, the glue really a connector or facilitator, the log in its four stages, and no he or she for anyone.
Under Glass is a game for groups of friends. Nobody is being sealed anywhere, and nothing here judges a real person.
